The Suite

Your stay, your time.
Large scale living/work space, bedroom, bathroom.

The Suite offers stylish accommodation within a family home.

The bedroom and ensuite open onto a dramatic living/work space with garden views on three sides.
Entrance is via the main door to the property. There is a privacy curtain in the corridor dividing the suite from the main property.

The suite is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.

The space itself is truly inspirational. The panoramic windows look out to the surrounding nature, making it feel as if you are in the middle of a forest - even more wonderful at night as the minimal light pollution allowed for clear gazing into the night sky. The Suite’s living space is comfortable, clean, and a great spot to inspire a natural work flow. The Suite also has a private basic kitchenette, bathroom, and cosy bedroom.
The living space is adjacent to hosts, Alice, and Piers’ family home. This is separated by a heavy duty curtain, and a soundproof sliding door further along the corridor. Initially when arriving, I was nervous to be so close to the family home as I did not want to cause disruptions. However, I found that the soft murmurs of the family through the curtain and door provided a comforting white noise.

The perfect setting for creative inspiration

Your host, an artist herself, knows how important it is for the space and atmosphere to be just right for a positive, productive stay.

“I had a very enjoyable stay, and would recommend The Hide to artists of any kind.

I’m a director, and found this an ideal place to write. The tranquility comes with the setting, but the owners have created a variety of wonderful spaces in which to live and work.

I very much liked the surrounding area, with many great places to eat and drink.”
